U14

Our U14’s cover a huge range of abilities, from beginners level through to experienced club players. Some of our girls have played for many years and alongside playing for us some are also train with District Schools, West Yorkshire Pathway & Elite Netball Academy squads. However, some girls are just starting their netball journey having only ever played a bit of netball in school. With this in mind we offer two U14 sessions. All girls are initially invited to join our development session for assessment and from there may be selected to join the competition training session. Girls from both training sessions are considered weekly to play in one of our 2 registered U14 teams alongside friendlies run throughout the season to ensure all girls get lots of opportunity for  competitive match play.

With girls coming from BBG, Heckmondwike Grammar, Rastrick High, Shelley, St John Fishers and  Mirfield Free Grammar we are an all inclusive club with teamwork and friendship a big part of our ethos.

Our goal for the U14’s is to improve all the players’ abilities and passion for netball through positive coaching and encouragement.

We would like our first team to finish within the top three league places this season,  whereas our second teams focus is on the  development of netball’s core skill set. Although we will always play to win, with the second team our focus is improving the girls skill’s with a view to them being able to enter the first team at a highly competitive level.

Our U14 development squad every Tuesday 6pm – 7:30pm and our U14 competition team train every Tuesday 7:30 – 9pm  both at Dixons City Academy Bradford. Both play Sunday morning matches from September to December and January to April.
